Test Valley Borough Council (TVBC) has updated its Local Plan which guides future development, including location of new residential development across the borough, and has launched a public consultation, details of which can be found at

As listed on pages 24 – 25 of the Draft Plan there are a number of proposals which are likely to be of interest or have an impact upon Ampfield. They include;

Land at Ampfield Meadows, Ampfield 44 homes

Brentry Nursery, Romsey 245 homes

Land at Flexford Road, Valley Park 200 homes
